About Me

I am a Rule 114 Qualified Neutral trained to provide mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) services for families. I also serve as a Parenting Time Expeditor (PTE) under Minn. Stat. § 518.1751 and as a Parenting Consultant (PC) when appointed by the court or agreed upon by parents. My role is to help families resolve disputes fairly, clearly, and with a focus on the best interests of their children.
My educational background includes B.S. in Psychology and being a MFT Graduate Student. This combination of academic training and professional experience allows me to approach family conflict with both expertise and a systemic, child-focused perspective.
In addition to my professional training, I bring the perspective of lived experience. I was a divorced mom of four children, and today I am a grandmother of two and remarried into a blended family. I understand firsthand the challenges of co-parenting, divorce, and navigating family transitions. These experiences shape my approach and strengthen my commitment to guiding families with empathy, neutrality, and respect.
My mission is to create supportive, structured environments where parents can work through disagreements, reduce conflict, and move forward with clarity and confidence.

Mediation – Rule 114 Qualified Neutral
Mediation is a form of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) where a neutral third party helps parents or former partners resolve disputes outside of court. In Minnesota, mediators must meet specific training and ethical standards under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice.

Parenting Time Expeditor (PTE)
A Parenting Time Expeditor (PTE) is a neutral, court-appointed professional under Minn. Stat. § 518.1751 who helps parents resolve disputes specifically about parenting time. The purpose of a PTE is to provide families with a faster, less costly alternative to going back to court, while ensuring that children’s best interests remain the focus.
Parenting Consultant (PC)
A Parenting Consultant (PC) is a neutral, court-appointed professional with authority to enforce, interpret, and clarify a broad spectrum of parenting issues, including the authority to render legally binding decisions. Unlike Parenting Time Expeditors (PTEs), Parenting Consultants are not specifically defined by Minnesota statute; their authority comes from court orders or agreements between parents.
